About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Rogers City School District in Michigan for an Asphalt Rubber and Paint Application Project for their school track. The project involves applying a rubberized surfacing and paint markings on existing asphalt surfaces, specifically a 6-coat, ½-inch stranded rubber and latex surface system in black color. The work must be completed by August 4, 2025, with proposals due by March 7th, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. Interested vendors must submit comprehensive proposals including company information, project approach, detailed cost breakdown, references, insurance certificates, licensing proof, and warranty information.

The project is being funded by a non-state source, and therefore prevailing wage requirements do not apply. The school district will evaluate proposals based on cost-effectiveness, contractor qualifications, timeline, compliance with RFP requirements, and material quality. Bidders must complete an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Compliance form and a No Familial Relation Affidavit. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, and the contract term appears to be for the 2025 track renovation season with no explicit renewal options mentioned. The total project scope is for a single track surface renovation at the Rogers City school location.
