About this file
This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Contra Costa County's Department of Information Technology (DoIT) for Tanium Cloud Services. The county is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to procure Tanium software components for a three-year service period from March 15, 2025, to March 14, 2028, with two possible one-year annual renewals. The RFP requests licensing and access to 11 different Tanium software solutions, including Tanium Integrity Monitor, Tanium Comply Plus, Tanium Core Platform, and others, with quantities ranging from 120 to 9,000 licenses. The RFP was released on February 13, 2025, with proposals due by March 07, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. PST, and all submissions must be made electronically through the BidSync website.
Pricing for the contract will be firm and fixed for the duration of the three-year term, with vendors required to provide a detailed price quote breaking down annual costs for years 1-3. The evaluation process will consider factors such as company qualifications, project understanding, methodology, on-time delivery, cost, and client references. Proposers must meet minimum qualifications, including having at least five years of experience reselling software licenses and adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The county reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, terminate the RFP, or re-solicit proposals at its discretion. The total contract will be evaluated based on a point system, with the county potentially requesting Best and Final Offers (BAFO) from finalists.
