About this file
Warren Consolidated Schools has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Band Instruments and Equipment for multiple schools within their district, including Cousino High School, Sterling Heights High School, Warren Mott High School, Beer Middle School, Butcher Educational Center, Carleton Middle School, Carter Middle School, and Grissom Middle School. The RFP seeks to procure a comprehensive range of musical instruments across four categories: woodwind, percussion, brass, and rollers/mallets/drum sticks, along with additional equipment. The proposal solicitation is dated May 8, 2025, with a 2:00 PM submission deadline, and requires vendors to provide detailed information including brand, model number, price, case inclusion, quantity, shipping cost, and delivery date. All instruments and equipment must be received by August 15, 2025, with purchase orders to be submitted to selected vendors before June 1, 2025.
The RFP specifies strict brand requirements, with many items having "non-negotiable" brand specifications, predominantly favoring Yamaha, Vic Firth, and other specific manufacturers. Vendors must submit proposals on the provided forms and include sworn statements disclosing familial relationships with board members and compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, split awards by items, or accept the proposal that best serves their interests. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to the specified school locations in Warren and Sterling Heights, Michigan. Pricing must remain firm for 90 days, and no proposal bond is required for this solicitation.
