Contractors are required to provide their own personnel to carry out the removal of existing media, installation of new media, and restoration of the adsorbers to operational status.
The scope of services includes:
o Media Supply: Provision of virgin granular Bayoxide® E33 media for the change-out, with each vessel supplied approximately 69 cubic feet, totaling 138 cubic feet across both units.
o Change-Out Services: Contractors shall furnish all labor, expertise, and equipment necessary for the extraction and replacement of spent media at the specified location. In determining a Contractor's RESPONSIBILITY, the Town may consider: ability, capacity, and skill; character, integrity, and experience; quality of past performance; compliance with laws and ordinances; adequacy of insurance; current workload and capacity; and methods to be used in fulfilling the contract.

3.13 Notice to Contractors
Before submitting Bid Documents, the Contractor must become fully informed as to the extent and character of the goods and/or services required and completely familiarize itself with the requirements of these Bid
Documents. Failure to do so will not relieve the Contractor of responsibility to fully perform. No consideration will be granted for any alleged misunderstanding of the material to be furnished or the services to be performed.
Submission of a bid constitutes agreement with all items and conditions referred to herein.
Any items, systems, or devices supplied in this bid that are proprietary in nature relative to maintenance, repair, servicing, or updating must be disclosed on the bid form.
