The project involves assembling circuit boards, mounting and wiring front panels, final assembly of QPM crates, and installing circuit boards to deliver complete QPM systems. Fermilab will supply all parts, and the contractor will be responsible for precise assembly according to detailed specifications for various modules including Digital Interface, Digital I/O to PC104, Switcher Analog Interface, Analog Buffer, PC104 System Control, PC104 External Interface, Backplane, and Input Power Panel.

The RFP requires submission of proposals by September 3, 2025, with a best value source selection approach. Contractors must complete two key testing phases: first, delivering two sample modules for initial evaluation, and second, undergoing a 60-day post-delivery inspection period. The contract is under Prime Contract No. DE AC02 07CH11359 with the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science. Proposers must submit a completed RFP page, SARC Form (Subcontractor Annual Reps & Certs), and a PUR-466 Proposal Certification form. Delivery will be to Fermilab Receiving Warehouse 2 in Batavia, IL, with payment terms of Net 30 and F.O.B. at Fermilab.
