SCHEDULE A – STATEMENT OF WORK

Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 260000002042 Print and Mail Management Wide Format Printer and Flatbed Cutter with Maintenance This schedule identifies the anticipated requirements of any Contract resulting from this RFP. The term “Contractor” in this document refers to a bidder responding to this RFP, as well as the Contractor who is awarded the contract. The term “bidder” is used to identify where specific responses to the RFP are required.

The Contractor must respond to each requirement or question and explain how it will fulfill each requirement. Attach any supplemental information and appropriate reference within your response.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO CONTRACTORS/BIDDERS: There are specific requirements for which acceptance must be simply acknowledged through a checkbox(es), and others that require further explanation. Click one checkbox and complete the entries as identified.

BACKGROUND

Printing Services (PS) provides high-volume digital printing services to all state agencies, as well as a wide variety of design, bindery and wide format services. Products include brochures, newsletters, letterhead, business cards, posters, forms, envelopes, carbonless forms, manuals, books, conference signage, banners and more. Any print requests beyond our business scope are outsourced to pre-qualified vendors.

Wide or large format printing is a service offered by PS to its customers. As the name suggests, its main purpose is to support maximum print width to produce output such as banners, posters, wallpapers, murals and more. Large format printing is ideal for materials that have visual or graphic-heavy designs. The wide images and texts make big format prints effective advertising tools and create more impact than normal-sized materials.

Printing Services is seeking to replace the current wide format printer and cutter, as well as its corresponding components. It is looking for a hybrid wide format printer and flatbed cutting table that will improve production times, reduce staff workloads and provide customers with significant service and feature enhancements.
