About this file
This is Addendum #1 to RFP 26-004 issued by the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia for the Ridge Lake Park Phase 3 Parking project located at 5494 Cumming Highway, Sugar Hill, GA 30518. The addendum modifies the original request for sealed price proposals from a General Contractor to provide materials and installation of a pervious parking addition. The addendum clarifies that Final Completion shall be 180 days from the Notice to Proceed date and addresses specification details regarding paver selection and ADA marking requirements for the handicap parking zone. The primary clarification concerns whether the existing pavers in the handicap zone should be replaced with permeable pavers featuring thermoplastic striping or with specific ADA-designated pavers, with reference to sheet 8.0 of the project plans for additional detail.
The addendum specifies the required permeable paver product as Belgard ECO-CITYLOCK (Product Number 314) available through Keystone Hardscapes, with dimensions of 4x8 inches and a height of 60mm. The pavers feature smooth surfaces with finely chamfered edges in a contemporary design, meet ASTM C936 and C1782 standards, and have an initial infiltration rate exceeding 700 inches per hour per ASTM C1781. Each pallet contains 480 units covering approximately 107 square feet and weighs 2,880 pounds. The pavers are designed for light vehicular applications and are made of durable concrete with iron oxide pigments to prevent UV fading. The specification information provided in this addendum supersedes any previously provided information and becomes an integral part of the contract documents.

RFP # 26-004 – Ridge Lake Park Parking February 19, 2026
ADDENDUM #1
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE VENDORS: This addendum is issued for the purposes of modifying the original scope, through addition, deletion, clarification or correction as outlined herein. The information provided in this addendum supersedes any information previously provided in the referenced document(s). This addendum and the information contained herein shall be used in the preparation of any bid submitted by the Prospective Vendor and shall become an integral part of the contract documents for any contract awarded for the specified project. Please inform all concerned that the Request is modified by this Addendum.
CLARIFICATIONS:
The contract will stipulate that Final Completion shall be 180 days from the Notice to Proceed date.
QUESTIONS:
The plans indicate that the existing pavers within the handicap zone are to be removed and replaced with ADA marking pavers. However, we were unable to find a specific detail identifying the type of paver required.
Are these intended to be the same permeable pavers used throughout the project with thermoplastic striping applied on top, or is a specific ADA-designated paver required in place of striping? If a different paver is required for the handicap areas, please clarify how the parking spaces in the remainder of the lot are to be marked.
The detail on sheet 8.0 addresses this item. I'm also including a link:
