About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for RFP-25-9, issued by the Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) for Electrical Maintenance & Repair Services on an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The addendum modifies two key sections of the original bidding documents: first, it limits proposal submissions to a maximum of 10 pages (excluding covers, backs, and specific tabs), and second, it adds a requirement that if awarded the contract, the respondent must provide Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badging at their own expense for employees working in secured areas.
The addendum, dated December 1, 2024, was released via VendorLink and provides clarification on proposal submission guidelines and additional contract terms. Bidders are instructed to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their Bid Form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification. More information about TWIC badging is available on the Port Canaveral website, indicating that successful contractors will need to ensure their employees have proper security credentials to work within the port's secured zones.
