About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 for ITB 25-24TM Sewer Services issued by the City of Hampton, Virginia on January 27, 2025, with bids due February 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The contract is for sewer construction services including manhole frame/cover replacement, lateral service connection, and other wastewater infrastructure projects. The contract term is for one year with four optional renewable years. The solicitation specifies licensing requirements where contractors with Class A licenses must bid on all items, while Class B licensed contractors are allowed to bid on specific subsets of items that fall within their state licensure requirements.
The expected annual contract value ranges between $2 million and $5 million, though this is not guaranteed and will vary based on department needs. The contract will be awarded to multiple contractors and will be used for both planned infrastructure replacement projects and repair-driven work that cannot be predicted. While there are plans for several wastewater gravity sewer projects to replace existing infrastructure and perform extensions for new services, there is no formal list of initial projects. The contract may also be used by other Hampton Public Works departments for similar types of work.
