About this file

This document is an addendum to Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-44 for Workers Compensation Third Party Administration Services (Annual Contract) issued by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) in Georgia. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide third-party administration services for the school system's workers' compensation program. The addendum responds to questions received from potential bidders, providing clarification on the current TPA, claim volumes, loss history, reporting requirements, medical management, return-to-work program, OSHA requirements, and the school system's risk management information system. The RFP closing date is April 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm ET.

The current TPA contract is expiring, prompting the school system to issue this RFP. SCCPSS is self-insured for workers' compensation, with a retention limit noted in the background information. The school system is interested in reducing injuries and ensuring a smooth transition to a new TPA. Pricing details are not provided, but the addendum indicates the school system is satisfied with the level of information provided regarding its current program and key performance indicators.
