About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by a coalition in Florida's Palm Beach County for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services. The RFP seeks a single contract award to a qualified PEO vendor to provide services as outlined in the Scope of Services. The addendum addresses questions and provides clarification on the current environment, including that the coalition currently uses an external PEO vendor, has an in-house HR team, and has approximately 250 full-time employees, of which 70 are salaried and 180 are hourly. The coalition anticipates awarding a single contract as a result of this RFP.
The addendum also indicates that the incumbent PEO provider, ADP, is eligible to submit a proposal. The current fees are approximately 2.6-3.01% of gross wages, which do not include wages, taxes, workers' compensation, or group insurance. Subcontracting is not mandatory, and there are no specific goals for subcontracting. The successful proposer and any of its subcontractors must be properly licensed and certified throughout the contract term.
