About this file
The document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Suwannee River Water Management District (District) in Florida for Group Health Insurance coverage. The District is seeking fully insured proposals from qualified insurance carriers to provide group health coverage for its employees and retirees, who are currently covered under a policy with Florida Blue. The District has 55 subscribers, two of which are retirees who have waived medical coverage. The District will provide the selected carrier with the employee/retiree census, current plan designs, and rates for consideration in preparing the response.
The RFP does not provide specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or contract amounts. However, it indicates that the District is currently fully insured for group health coverage and is looking to continue this arrangement through the RFP process.
