About this file

This document is an Addendum #1 to RFP 2024-277 for Architectural and Engineering Services issued by an unspecified state or local agency on October 16, 2024. The addendum addresses a clarification question regarding the scoring methodology presented in the original RFP, which contained conflicting point totals across different sections. The agency has clarified that Section 2.3 on pages 8 and 9 constitutes the correct scoring method for committee evaluation, with 95 points available rather than the 120 points referenced in other sections. The addendum specifies that Section 4.3, paragraphs 3, 4, 5, and 6 should be disregarded, while all other paragraphs pertaining to evaluation method, scoring, and reference checks remain in effect. This addendum concludes all written questions and inquiries submitted during the scheduled RFP process and formally closes that portion of the procurement timeline.

The document does not contain specific information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, contract amounts, funding sources, or other financial details. The addendum focuses solely on clarifying the evaluation criteria and scoring structure for proposal assessment. No incumbent contractor information, project-specific requirements, or additional salient financial terms are discussed in this addendum document.

Issues the Following Addendum #1 to RFP 2024-277 Architectural and Engineering Services

October 16, 2024

The following question has been asked in reference to RFP 2024-255

1. Could you please clarify the scoring points. The RFP lists two slightly different categories and points available. Pages 8 and 9 list 120 points and pages 16 and 17 are 100 points for slightly different categories. We are comfortable with either approach, just want to make sure address each category.

A. Section 2.3 on pages 8 & 9 is the scoring method that the Agency’s committee will be using in evaluating each of the proposals. It should also be noted that there are 95 points available and not 120 as listed in the RFP.

Section 4.3 paragraphs 3, 4, 5, and 6 may be disregarded. All other paragraphs pertaining to evaluation method, scoring, and reference checks remain in effect.

This concludes all of the written questions and inquiries submitted during the scheduled RFP process and closes this portion of the process.
