I. DUE DATE

This Addendum does not change the solicitation due date. As such, the solicitation response is due no later than Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM Local Time.

II. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q&A)

The City has received the following question(s) concerning the solicitation:

Q1. What is the budget for this project?

A1. The budget for this project as a whole is projected at $30,000.00

Q2. The RFP indicates that Phase II will only be undertaken upon an appropriate results from Phase I.

It follows that the scope and approach for Phase II might also be influenced by the results of Phase I. Also, there are several tasks in Phase II that are labeled “Supplemental Item requires approval.”

It seems that a lot of guesswork would be involved to scope out and budget these tasks at the current time, without completion of Phase I. Can cost proposals focus only on Phase I? If you require a cost proposal for Phase II, will there be a chance to refine the Phase II scope and budget after Phase I assuming the City decides to go forward?

A2. As the approach for Phase II may be subject to refinement after the discovery Phase I, Proposers are requested to provide their best cost estimate and proposed approach to each task, based on previous professional experience. Based on this development, the fee proposal for Phase I will be used in the evaluation of the proposals.

Q3. What is the approximate total annual revenue generated from the commercial customers (i.e., the total revenue paid by commercial customers to the franchise haulers)?

A3. The approximate total annual revenue generated from the commercial customers is $1.75M.
