About this file
This is Addendum 1 to RFP 173-25020 issued by Cumberland County Schools to correct the initial starting year and remove the NC eP fee. The original RFP sought proposals for 6-12 core instructional materials in English Language Arts (ELA) for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The addendum makes two significant changes: first, it modifies the scope to K-12 core instructional materials in mathematics (rather than ELA) for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years. The materials must support district academic goals, align with state standards, engage students in meaningful mathematical learning, and meet the needs of all learners including those with special needs and English language learners.
The addendum removes the electronic procurement requirement that had originally required successful bidders to pay a transaction fee of 1.75% on the total dollar amount (excluding sales taxes) of purchase orders issued through the statewide E-Procurement service. This fee requirement has been completely eliminated from the RFP.
