The contract encompasses maintenance of 19 traffic signal intersections with potential signal modifications throughout the district, contingent on available funding. Key equipment and services include vehicle detection systems (video-based), traffic controller assemblies with various preemption options, ITS CCTV cameras, uninterruptible power supplies, pedestrian detectors, and cellular modems. The department does not plan to purchase remaining spare parts at contract conclusion. Contractors may store department-furnished equipment at their facilities as needed for scheduled installations. Preventive maintenance work will be reimbursed based on contractor estimates provided to the project manager prior to work commencement. Technical proposals must include a cover letter, surety letter, Drug Free Workplace Program Certificate, Vendor Certification Regarding Scrutinized Companies List, E-Verify Form, and Bid Opportunity List for Commodities & Contractual Services.
