About this file
This document is an attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the State of Florida for a 28-bed nonsecure residential program for males aged 14 to 18. The program must provide delinquency programming and treatment services, and be located in a Department-owned building in Miami, Florida or a Respondent-owned/leased building in the state. The Department will allow flexibility in bed and restrictiveness levels based on their needs. Respondents must check boxes certifying if they have a drug-free workplace, are a certified minority business enterprise, are a service-disabled veteran's business enterprise, are a Florida business, or are a foreign manufacturer with a Florida factory. If there is a tie, these certifications will determine the award. Respondents must provide their net worth if they claim to be a minority or service-disabled veteran's business.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the 28-bed nonsecure residential program in Miami, Florida. The Department has received one response to the RFP and has canceled the evaluation team briefing and debriefing meetings as a result. Pricing terms, funding requirements and sources, and other salient details are not provided in the attachment.
