Town of Village of Argyle Comprehensive Plan RFP Question and Answers
Question: We see that the proposed budget is $22,950 for the requested tasks. Can you let us know if there is a specific number of hours you anticipate these tasks taking?
Answer: The proposed budget of $22,950 is a flat-fee among tied to completion of the tasks outlined in the scope of work, rather than a set number of billable hours. The selected consultant is expected to allocate the time necessary to complete the scope of work in full to a professional standard. Proposers may also submit alternative scopes of work, with corresponding budgets, for consideration.
Question. Task 10: The RFP calls for four “in-person” meetings in one area and then two “in-person” visioning workshops. Are there two additional in-person meetings required? Are those defined by the Town or LCLGRPB or proposed by the consultant?
Answer: Two additional in-person public workshops are requested in the proposer’s scope of work. Proposers may also submit alternative scopes of work, with corresponding budgets, for consideration.
Question: Task 11: Will the town/village provide narratives, concepts, etc. and other background to define the projects for which the consultant will be developing project profiles?
Answer: The project profiles will be developed from the priority recommendations and projects developed through the public outreach and comprehensive planning process.
Question: Task 15: What format (software program) will be used to develop the Draft Comprehensive Plan? By “editable”, are you expecting Microsoft Word, or would the client have access to InDesign?
Answer: Microsoft Word and Adobe are preferred, but other options will be considered.
