About this file

This is an addendum (#1) to RFP #003-16-01 issued by the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) for Pre-Employment Psychological Screening Examination Interviews for peace officer candidates applying to Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) regulated law enforcement agencies statewide. The addendum modifies several key dates: the Written Questions Submittal Deadline through California EProcurement is changed to April 1, 2016; Questions and Answers will be posted on April 4, 2016; and all questions must be received by April 1, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. The RFP's deadline for proposal submission is April 15, 2016, with bid opening on April 18, 2016, notice of intent to award by April 22, 2016, and contract commencement on July 1, 2016.

The addendum also removes certain minimum requirements from the original RFP, specifically Section I on page 8 and corresponding language in Attachment 7 (Minimum Requirements Response Sheet). Key qualifications for proposers include possession of valid psychology/medical licenses, completion of POST education requirements, three years of clinical assessment experience, three references, and various administrative requirements such as evidence of good standing with the California Secretary of State for corporations and proper licensing documentation for medical practitioners.
