About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for prototype Reversible Signature Management Overwhite Garments. The U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center is seeking information from potential offerors on their capability to provide novel reversible multi-spectral camouflage fabrics that provide camouflage across visible through longwave infrared wavelengths. The key requirements include reversible fabrics with one side in Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) and the other in Snow Marine Pattern (MARPAT), providing thermal signature management and maintaining or improving upon the performance of current fielded Snow Overwhites. Interested parties are invited to submit a Broad Other Transaction Authority Announcement (BOTAA) preproposal by May 22, 2024. The government anticipates awarding a prototype agreement for an innovative technology, process, or concept proposed in response to this RFI. Specific essential and elective design requirements, as well as anticipated deliverables, are detailed in the attached Key Performance Parameter (KPP) / Key System Attribute (KSA) document.
