About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Army Contracting Command (ACC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, specifically the Solider Medical Devices (SMD) Program Management Office. The RFI seeks market research to identify a commercially available subscription for an equipment maintenance database and portable benchtop centrifuge to be used by veterinarians and animal care specialists at Role of Care 1 & 2 medical facilities. Interested vendors are instructed to submit electronic white papers in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format by the deadline listed on SAM.gov, with submissions sent via email to Patrick J. Wallace and Trish R Scott at their army.mil email addresses.
The RFI includes specific submission instructions, requiring a one-page cover sheet with organizational details, technical and administrative points of contact, and topic areas addressed. Vendors are asked to complete tables for Logistics and Integrated Product Support and ECs (Engineering Components). The document emphasizes that this is a market research effort only, not a solicitation, and responses will not be used to form a binding contract. Potential respondents are advised that they are responsible for all response-related expenses, and no phone calls or telephonic communications will be considered as submissions.
