The scope of services encompasses preventive maintenance, calibration, repair, technical support, parts and labor, and software upgrades for VITEK Compact 15, Compact 30, Compact 60, MS PLUS systems, APS One, MYLA, and PREVI Color Systems across seven FDA food testing laboratories located in Arkansas, Colorado, New York, California (two locations), Washington, and Georgia. Service requirements include at least one annual preventive maintenance visit per instrument, ISO 17025-compliant calibration services with certificates, on-site repairs with a maximum 72-hour response time, unlimited Monday-Friday technical support (8:00 AM–4:00 PM local time), factory-certified OEM replacement parts and technician labor, and software upgrade capabilities. The anticipated contract structure is a 5-year IDIQ with a 1-year base period and four optional 1-year renewal periods. Interested parties must provide company information, DUNS/CAGE codes, OEM relationship details with BioMérieux, technician qualifications and geographic distribution, ISO 17025 compliance experience, response time capabilities, parts management policies (excluding salvaged parts), past performance with similar contracts, and proposed service delivery approaches. Responses should be submitted electronically to Nina Montgomery at nina.montgomery@fda.hhs.gov. This RFI is explicitly not a solicitation and does not commit the Government to award a contract; responses will not be evaluated or scored and are used for market research purposes only.
