About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by FEMA's Office of the Chief Security Officer seeking qualified security service providers capable of deploying licensed, armed security guards within 24-48 hours across continental and non-continental United States locations. The RFI aims to identify potential contractors who can provide rapid-response security services across 10 defined FEMA regions, with an anticipated contract strategy of finding businesses capable of performing in every state or within specific regions to support disaster-declared areas.
The RFI requests detailed information from potential contractors on guard deployment capabilities, including personnel availability, deployment timelines, licensing and training processes, operational support technologies, compliance requirements, and contractual considerations. Respondents must submit a five-page electronic response by the specified deadline, including a cover page with company details, a capability statement, and answers to specific questions about their security service offerings. The solicitation is structured to gather market research for a future Blanket Purchase Agreement for armed protective security officers, with a base year and four option years anticipated.
