About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair of 17 mixer stages (part number 270-2615-040) and 6 power supplies (part number 270-2615-020) for the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). The SOW requires the contractor to open, inspect, and provide initial diagnostics on each unit to determine if they can be economically repaired. For units that are Beyond Economical Repair (BER), the contractor must submit an Open and Inspect Report (OIR) and a BER report. For repairable units, the contractor must provide a firm-fixed price quote to repair the units to OEM specifications within 15 days of receiving the equipment. All repaired and BER units must be returned to the SFLC warehouse in Baltimore, MD within 30 business days of receiving a new contract or modification authorizing the repairs.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Rockwell Collins High Frequency Power Supply and Mixer. The RFI is being issued by the U.S. Coast Guard to identify parties interested in providing "Ready for Issue" stock parts and equipment to support U.S. Government and Coast Guard missions. This RFI is not a solicitation, and no award will be made. After reviewing the RFI responses, the Coast Guard may publish a solicitation on the Contract Opportunities website if they decide to proceed with the acquisition.
