About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking detailed input from potential vendors about designing and constructing a modular facility for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Secret Service. The RFI contains 16 comprehensive questions focusing on vendor capabilities, project timing, prior experience, facility specifications, and technical requirements. Key areas of inquiry include the cost comparison between modular and permanent structures, lead times for completion, warranty details, facility lifespan, compliance with federal building regulations, utility integration, ADA accessibility, and scalability of modular solutions. Vendors are also asked to provide company information, including SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier, contact details, business size, and any strategic sourcing or GSA Schedule affiliations. The document seeks a thorough understanding of vendor expertise in creating adaptable, semi-permanent structures for federal government agencies, with particular emphasis on emergency services and potential future mission requirements.
