About this file

This file is a Request for Information (RFI) questions template for market research purposes related to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) maintenance and logistics support services. The RFI seeks responses from potential offerors regarding their capability to provide corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and support services for Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment and Radiation Detection Equipment used by CBP. The template collects company business information including UEI, CAGE code, GSA contract details, and point of contact information, along with socio-economic status certifications such as woman-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and 8(a) classifications.

The RFI questionnaire focuses on technical and operational capability assessment, requesting respondents to identify their experience with equipment maintenance, personnel clearance recruitment, subcontracting needs, and performance timelines. Respondents are asked to provide examples of corrective and preventative maintenance work, stakeholder reporting capabilities, recommended business practices and Service Level Agreements, and applicable GSA or other government contracts. The template requests validation of the NAICS code (811219 - repair and maintenance of miscellaneous equipment) and Product Service code (J058), and allows submission of up to three past performance references (maximum three pages each) demonstrating relevant contract experience. The RFI also includes optional feedback sections and indicates that responses to this market research are for informational planning purposes only, with no commitment for future procurement and no reimbursement for response costs.
