Overview
The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mexico, is seeking to expand the Agency’s partnership with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) organizations in Mexico to promote the inclusion of LGBTQI+ people into USAID’s development approach and enhance the organizations’ local leadership and capacity.
USAID is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information and potential interest from organizations to diversify USAID’s partner and sub-partner base. The goal of the RFI is to
1) better understand LGBTQI+ community priorities in Mexico; 2) diversify USAID/Mexico’s partner and sub-partner base by creating avenues for new and underutilized partners and sub-partners to work with USAID; and 3) support partners and sub-partners to become self-reliant and capable of leading their own development journeys.
Response Requested
Responses received from this RFI will help the Mission shape its future inclusion work and identify organizations currently engaging the LGBTQI+ community and possibly interested in working with USAID/Mexico Mission.
