Sources Sought for Hazardous Materials Abatement Contract (HMAC) Indefinite-delivery Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ)

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION. A DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK IS THE ONLY

SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

Subject: Hazardous Materials Abatement Contract (HMAC) Indefinite-delivery Indefinite-quantity

(IDIQ)

This request is for information (RFI) pursuant to FAR 15.201. This information is to improve the understanding of Government requirements, industry capabilities and gain market knowledge through market research. This request for information is intended solely to obtain market information/ capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. The responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate determinations about potential sources only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist. Any feedback submitted will be considered.

The purpose of this notice is to: 1) Determine if capable and interested sources for this procurement exist and 2) Invite industry feedback concerning establishing a Hazardous Materials Abatement Contract, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) at JBER, AK. Information submitted in response to this notice will be taken into consideration when determining the best acquisition strategy for follow-on procurements. Any subsequent procurement and/or administration will be performed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

All interested and qualified contractors are invited to respond to this source sought notice with the following information, as well as any feedback to the draft statement of work provided. Responses to this RFI shall include the following:

1. Name of Company & POC contact information

2. Location

3. Associated NAICS/ Identification of socio-economic status/business size

4. Capabilities Statement

5. Would a single award or multiple award IDIQ be preferred? What minimum and maximum values would be most advantageous to your company?

6. Industry feedback and/or constructive comments concerning the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) is highly encouraged.

NOTE: Please feel free to attach any additional information regarding the inquires above that the government may review. This information is for planning purposes and market research only and not a solicitation. Any information contained herein is subject to change; any updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Contract Opportunities section of the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov/ The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this source’s sought notice. In addition, this announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or contract award.
