About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Tobyhanna Army Depot for a geodesic radome system to support radar maintenance, calibration, operation, and testing. The radome must have an equatorial diameter of 110 feet, a height of approximately 77 feet, and operate across a frequency range of 1 to 40 GHz while withstanding winds up to 150 mph in the Pocono Mountain region of eastern Pennsylvania. The structure must include three porticos with equipment access doors, three personnel doors, and comprehensive safety and lighting systems including lightning protection, interior lighting, aircraft warning lights, radiation hazard warning lights, and door exit signs.

Respondents must provide detailed capabilities statements of no more than ten pages demonstrating their ability to supply the radome system along with specifications for available insulation options, HVAC equipment with associated power requirements, external and internal duct work designs, and installation and maintenance manuals. The RFI also requests vendor information including company background, relevant experience with similar geodesic radome systems for radar operations, and customer references. Submissions must be delivered electronically in Microsoft Word or PDF format to James Harris (james.t.harris208.civ@army.mil) and Ricky Saunders (ricky.saunders.civ@army.mil) by 12:00 p.m. EDT on April 30, 2026.
