About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) details a mission support project for Building 2039 at Robins Air Force Base involving an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Control System (ACS), and digital camera installation for the KINGPIN mission. The comprehensive security system requires protecting exterior and interior doors, with a focus on an Open Storage Area (OSA), using access control pin pads compatible with CAC/PIV technology and capable of connecting to the Base Security Office for unauthorized access alerts.

The technical specifications include video monitoring with 30-day backup for each entry point, system installation within 45 days of award, and vendor-provided training and system maintenance for one year. The security system is designed for SECRET-level access and does not involve SCIF or SAPR rooms. The opportunity is issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, with the solicitation number RFI1750964, and is currently in the pre-solicitation phase seeking information from interested companies capable of meeting these specific security infrastructure requirements.
