About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) from the U.S. Army Medical Command seeks information about the Thornhill Medical MOVES SLC system to support the National Emergency Tele-Critical Care Network (NETCCN) program. Responses are requested by August 20, 2021 to provide details about the MOVES SLC system's capabilities to meet the requirements of operating in military medicine, disaster relief, and remote environments. The RFI attachments request information about the responder's company and any comparable products or services to the MOVES SLC, which combines an oxygen concentrator, ventilator, suction, and monitoring in a single portable device. The NETCCN program aims to deliver emergency care to any location using deployable telemedicine services, and the MOVES SLC system would support this mission by providing critical life support capabilities in austere environments.

Background/Overview: U.S. Army Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) in Frederick, MD is establishing future National Emergency Tele-Critical Care Network (NETCCN) simulation testing environment. The NETCCN aims to deliver emergency and critical care support to any location by providing deployable services.
TATRC is seeking to purchase Thornhill Medical MOVES SLS all-in-one system that combines an oxygen concentrator, a unique O2-conserving ventilator, suction, and complete patient monitoring into a single, compact, battery-operated system. Its functions and capabilities align with the NETCCN efforts of providing deployable services to any locations. This system is manufactured only through Thornhill Medical at this time. No other system on the commercial marketplace offers the same capabilities or functions of the Thornhill Medical Moves SLC at this time. Without this system, TATRC and NETCCN’s missions providing care extensions to remote locations, including surge and forward operating environments, will be at risk for failure. This system is critical meeting and determining the capabilities of the NETCCN platform and for future deployments.
