About this file

This document is a Market Research Survey related to Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at various ports in Southern California (SOCAL) in support of a forthcoming federal contract opportunity, TRANSCOM24R004.

The survey seeks information from prospective contractors on their capability and availability to provide the full range of S&RTS operations, including cargo receipt, handling, and processing through multiple transportation modes. Key details requested include the contractor's experience, ability to meet minimum productivity levels, pricing approach, and timeline for being fully operational. The survey also inquires about any potential barriers to competition or doing business with the government. A draft Performance Work Statement is included as an attachment. The resulting contract may require 24/7 support, 365 days per year. The Department of Defense United States Transportation Command is the procuring agency.
