About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Air Force for market research regarding production and sustainment of the AN/ALR-69A Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle.
The RFI seeks potential sources capable of providing production, repairs, sustainment, spares acquisition, retrofits, and technical updates for the AN/ALR-69A RWR system for both United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The system is a digital RWR with specialized hardware designed to detect, identify, and report Radio Frequency threats, with performance heavily dependent on software, firmware, Operational Flight Programs (OFP), digital signal processing, and Mission Data Files (MDFs). The requirement includes two Line Replaceable Units: one (1) Command Signal Processor (CSP) and four (4) Receiver/Recordifiers (RRs). The anticipated contract strategy is a five-year term consisting of one basic year plus four option years, continuing through FY31. The requirement is classified as non-commercial, requires SECRET-level security clearance, involves no foreign participation, and Raytheon Company (RTX) is identified as the sole source contractor. Responses must be submitted by close of business May 9, 2026, to the Program Manager, Contracting Officer, and Buyer via email. The RFI explicitly states that no contract will be awarded based on responses, participation does not guarantee future contract participation, and the Government will not reimburse response costs. The NAICS code is 334511. Small businesses are encouraged to respond and may propose teaming arrangements, with the Government to determine set-aside strategy after analyzing responses.
