About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the California Department of Aging (CDA) to solicit information from qualified contractors regarding their capabilities and expertise in three primary areas: development of a comprehensive roadmap for designating new Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in California, creation of a risk assessment matrix for monitoring and auditing AAA operations, and development of standardized contracting templates for AAA Older Americans Act subcontracts. The RFI is issued for informational and planning purposes only and will inform the development of a potential future solicitation. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), and no solicitation response timeline, bidders' meetings, site visits, or award date is specified in this document.

The estimated contract value for the potential future solicitation is $250,000. Respondents may assume reasonable access to relevant CDA documentation and monitoring tools should a future solicitation be issued. The RFI was originally issued on December 15, 2025. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or renewal options are detailed in this informational document, as it serves solely to gather preliminary information from potential contractors prior to formal solicitation development.
