About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base for A-10C Thunderbolt II Aircraft Static-Display Shipping services. The RFI seeks to identify small business contractors capable of providing disassembly, shipping, and reassembly of a static-display aircraft, with the NAICS code 484230 for Specialized Freight (Long-Distance) Trucking. Interested small businesses are asked to respond by 1:00 pm on 27 June 2025 via email to TSgt Rey Anthony Imperial, addressing specific questions about their equipment, services, and capabilities.
The RFI is solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a commitment to contract. The government aims to determine if a small business set-aside is feasible and to gather information for forming a future Request for Quote (RFQ). Respondents are asked to evaluate whether the provided measurements and photos are sufficient for accurate pricing or if a site visit to Sheppard AFB is necessary. All submitted information will be kept confidential within the 7th Contracting Squadron and used to make the best decision on proceeding with the acquisition.
