The solicitation is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or obligation to award a contract. The software solution must support aircraft parking management with real-time collaborative access for air traffic control, ground handlers, airport staff, and airlines, including geolocating aircraft on the airfield using electronic data, generating key metrics on aircraft ground movements (landing and takeoff times, onblock and offblock events, and taxi delays), and integrating with existing TSAIA systems including Amadeus, Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model X (ASDEX), and Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC). Responses must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on August 24, 2026, to Procurement Officer Kaiden Ward either via email to Kaiden.ward@alaska.gov or by hard copy delivery to 3132 Channel Drive, Juneau, AK 99811-2500.
Responses must include identification of the individual or firm name with business website address if applicable, contact person, and phone number/email address, along with a detailed description of the company's capabilities and experience related to providing the required tasks and deliverables and how the company meets minimum qualifications. Cost estimates should not be included. DOT&PF will not award a contract based on this RFI, will not be financially responsible for response preparation costs, and makes no obligation to conduct a future solicitation or purchase goods or services. Pursuant to Administrative Order 352, any person or business determined to support or participate in a boycott of the State of Israel will be disqualified from procurement related to this RFI, unless the business has fewer than 10 employees or the contract amount is less than $100,000. The Software must also generate key metrics on aircraft ground movements, including landing and takeoff times, on‑block and off‑block events, and taxi delays to and from parking positions. The software must be approved for use within an FAA Air Traffic Control Tower to enable automated collaboration with the FAA and must integrate with systems currently in use at TSAIA, including Amadeus, Airport Surface Detection Equipment, Model X (ASDE‑X) and Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC). Comment by Petrenchak, Cherish (DOT): Spell these out first then put in ( ) Comment by Petrenchak, Cherish (DOT): Do we know how to spell these out? If so do so and put in ( )
ASDE‑X and ASSC are advanced FAA systems designed to improve safety and situational awareness on airport surfaces by tracking aircraft and vehicles in all weather conditions. Comment by Petrenchak, Cherish (DOT): Do we know how to spell these out? If so do so and put in ( )
