About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Florida Department of Education for a cloud-hosted Learning Management System (LMS) to provide training for Department and District personnel as required, as well as annual training needs for the Office of Safe Schools. The key objectives are to have a single vendor-managed LMS solution that can support 40,000-60,000 staff members participating in 6-10 trainings annually, with the flexibility to configure training changes and additions, and the ability to scale to accommodate up to 100,000 participants. The solution must integrate with the Department's Single Sign-On solution (Azure AD) and other City systems. The RFI seeks information on solution options, vendor availability, and cost analysis to assist in developing a viable solution to meet the Department's needs. Responses are requested by June 7, 2023, at 5:00 PM EST, and will be used for informational purposes only, with no contract award resulting from this RFI. Vendors are not prohibited from responding to any related subsequent solicitation.

The RFI requests respondents to provide information on their corporate history and experience, the proposed solution, typical costs, project management strategy, and documentation. The Department will review the responses to determine the feasibility of issuing a competitive solicitation for these products and services in the future. Any cost information provided will be used solely to gain a perspective on the potential budgetary magnitude, and no specific pricing or cost details are required in the responses.
