About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) for a contract to upgrade the communications-public address system at the United States Capitol Power Plant (CPP). The AOC is seeking to procure, plan, install, and commission a new expandable, addressable communication and public address system for the CPP that can provide clear, noise-free communications to all CPP buildings.
The scope of work is divided into three tasks: 1) Developing a project manual for the new system, 2) Procuring and installing the new system and removing the existing system, and 3) Providing annual equipment/system maintenance for 5 years. The AOC is requesting information from interested contractors on their interest and ability to perform this work, potentially under a GSA Schedule contract. The AOC is also seeking information on typical contract durations, examples of similar past contracts, and any other relevant details that may assist in the procurement process.
