The contract will have an initial term of two years, with the option to renew up to 10 years. The required delivery date for service to begin is immediately upon contract execution. Bids must be submitted by July 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and the agency will issue all purchases to the lowest responsible bidder. Pricing will remain firm for the first two years of the contract and may be negotiated if renewed.
The agency is seeking compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules for the cylinders, including that they must be visually inspected and free from defects, and must remain in the specified gas service for the life of the cylinder. Delivery requirements include next business day delivery for acetylene and 4 business day delivery for all other gases, with deliveries to be made between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, except for state holidays.
