About this file

This document is a question and answer file related to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for compressed laboratory gases issued by the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, Oregon Occupational Safety and Health. The contract will cover the supply of gases to government facilities in Marion County and the city of Salem. While the agency cannot guarantee exact purchase volumes, it notes that as a government lab, it should have priority access to helium, which is currently restocked every 4-6 weeks. The ITB does not specify any details on the volumes or quantities of gases required, but indicates that this information is important, especially for helium given its prioritized allocation.

The contract covers an unspecified term, and does not provide details on pricing, set-asides, incumbent suppliers, or funding sources. The document mainly focuses on responding to a question about gas volume information and the agency's priority access to helium supply.
