About this file
This is a revised specifications document for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Conservation Police outlining requirements for the procurement and installation of one (1) replacement 150HP outboard boat motor for the Central Zone. The motor must be installed and ready for pickup by June 30th, 2026. The vendor selected for this rebid must be capable of providing authorized service within a 150-mile radius of IDNR Headquarters located at 1 Natural Resources Way, Springfield, Illinois 62702. The specifications document provides detailed technical requirements and performance standards that the replacement motor must meet to ensure compatibility with the existing boat and operational requirements of the Conservation Police.
The procurement process requires vendors to meet all specification requirements outlined in the accompanying documentation. Key considerations for prospective bidders include the geographic service requirement mandating authorized service availability within 150 miles of the Springfield headquarters location and the firm deadline of June 30th, 2026, for motor installation and delivery readiness. Vendors should direct any clarifying questions to Melanie.N. Dodd at Melanie.N.Dodd@Illinois.gov. The rebid nature of this procurement indicates this is a reissued solicitation, suggesting specific requirements or conditions necessitated a revised approach to vendor selection.
