About this file
This document is a Pricing Proposal (Exhibit C) for Seminole County's Invitation for Bid (IFB-604836-24) for Aquatic Plant Materials and Installation. The solicitation seeks multiple contractors to provide comprehensive labor, materials, equipment, and services for procuring and installing a wide range of aquatic plants and trees. The comprehensive bid form includes detailed pricing matrices for 55 different plant species and 43 tree species, with pricing requested for various container sizes including bare root, 1-gallon, 3-gallon, 7-gallon, 10-gallon, and miscellaneous sizes. Contractors are required to provide installation costs for each plant and tree size category, with the pricing intended to cover all associated overhead, administrative, transportation, documentation, and operational expenses.
The pricing proposal allows bidders to submit costs for an extensive variety of native Florida aquatic and wetland plants, including species like Arrowhead, various Aster types, Bulrush, Ferns, Lantana, Water Lilies, and trees such as Bald Cypress, Magnolia, Oak varieties, and Wax Myrtle. The bid form is structured to capture comprehensive pricing across multiple plant sizes and types, enabling Seminole County to establish a flexible contract for acquiring aquatic plant materials for various environmental and landscaping projects. All pricing columns are currently blank, indicating that potential contractors will need to complete the detailed pricing matrix as part of their bid submission, with costs to include all direct and indirect expenses associated with plant procurement and installation.
