About this file

This document is an Amendment 1 Q&A response from the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) addressing vendor questions regarding the Re-Employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Training procurement (RFP 26-427DES-BUSSR-B-48855). The procurement seeks to improve the quality of employment services through RESEA training delivery. IDES estimates a maximum of 37.5 hours of training for RESEA staff and a maximum of 75 hours for train-the-trainer instruction, with the final scope and duration to be determined collaboratively with the selected vendor. The agency is open to self-paced, on-demand training content in addition to in-person instruction. IDES will not require the vendor to provide printing of training materials and supplies for in-person trainings.

IDES currently uses OneNet, a learning management system operated by Illinois Central Management Services, to track compliance training. The selected vendor will need to integrate with or work within this existing system for training delivery and tracking purposes. This amendment addresses fundamental operational questions to clarify vendor responsibilities and the training delivery environment, enabling prospective bidders to develop accurate proposals aligned with IDES's current infrastructure and expectations.

Amendment 1 to answer vendor questions

1. Does IDES currently have a learning management system in use? How does IDES currently track learning?

For required, compliance training, IDES uses an LMS system operated by IL Central Management Services. It is called One Net.

2. Will the vendor be responsible for printing of training materials and supplies for inperson trainings?

No, the vendor will not be responsible for printing of training materials and supplies for inperson trainings.

3. Approximately how many hours of training total is IDES looking for?

We want to cover the topics outlined in the RFP and, with the selected vendor, we will determine the optimal amount of time for training; at this point we can only estimate that it would be a maximum of 37.5 hours for the RESEA staff and a maximum of 75 hours for the train-the-trainer.

4. Is IDES open to self-paced content that would be available for on-demand training?

Yes. IDES is open to considering self-paced content.
