About this file
This is a Requirements document for an audio-visual system upgrade project at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of AIDS Research. The project involves the modernization of the audio-visual system in Room 2F100 (Resource Library) located at 5601 Fisher Lane, Rockville, Maryland. The current system is outdated, unsupported by IT staff, and does not adequately support current meeting and collaboration needs. The contractor must design, procure, install, and implement a fully integrated audio-visual system that aligns with the functionality and user experience of Room 3F100, providing a standardized, reliable, and easy-to-use meeting environment capable of supporting both in-room and virtual collaboration.
The contractor's scope of work includes developing a complete system design package with system layouts, signal flow diagrams, and equipment lists; conducting a design review with Government stakeholders prior to implementation; removing and properly disposing of or turning over existing equipment; evaluating existing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for reuse and integrating compatible components; and procuring and installing all required system components. The effort requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to deliver a complete and operational audio-visual system. This pre-solicitation opportunity is issued by the Department of Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations under solicitation number 75N98026Q00806.
