About this file

This document details insurance coverage requirements for a contract related to the Flagler County Library's E-Rate Cybersecurity Pilot Program in Florida. The requirements specify mandatory insurance types and minimum coverage limits for a contractor providing penetration testing and external vulnerability scanning services. The document outlines four primary insurance categories: Worker's Compensation Employer's Liability, Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Professional Liability, with specific minimum amounts for each coverage type.

The insurance requirements mandate that carriers must have a minimum financial rating of A- and that the contractor is responsible for maintaining these insurance coverages at their own expense throughout the service performance period. The coverage limits are substantial, with most liability categories requiring $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 in protection. For Professional Liability, which is applicable to this cybersecurity service contract, the requirement is $1,000,000 per claim and $1,000,000 in annual aggregate coverage. These stringent insurance specifications demonstrate the county's commitment to risk management and protection in procuring critical cybersecurity services for the library's network infrastructure.
