About this file
This document details insurance coverage requirements for a contractor working on the Flagler County Tourism Sustainability Master Plan, as specified by the County. The insurance requirements include comprehensive coverage across multiple categories: Worker's Compensation Employer's Liability (with statutory requirements and specified limits), Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Professional Liability. Each insurance type has specific minimum amount limits, such as $1,000,000 combined single limit for Automobile Liability and $2,000,000 general aggregate for Commercial General Liability.
The document mandates that insurance carriers must maintain a minimum financial rating of A- and that the contractor is responsible for maintaining these insurance coverages at their own expense throughout the performance of services. The insurance requirements are comprehensive, covering potential risks in worker compensation, general liability, automobile-related incidents, and professional services. While directly tied to the Tourism Sustainability Master Plan for Flagler County, Florida, these insurance specifications represent standard risk management practices for government contract work, ensuring protection for both the contractor and the county against potential financial losses or legal claims.
