Request for Quote Water Chiller Unit Rental Hill Air Force Base, UT
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA822420R7979 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and its supplements.
This is a 100% Small-Business Set-Aside announcement filed under NAICS code 238220 with small business size standard of $16.5 Million and Product Supply Code N041. The requirement calls for the contractor to conduct a site survey and install a temporary, trailer-mobile water chiller in accordance with, at the minimum, the specifications in the attached purchase specifications.
Due to the nature of the installation, the CLIN structure of the anticipated award is the following:

· All CLINs will be established on a firm fixed price basis and will be separate deliverables. Maintenance of the chiller will be included with each CLIN for the duration of the ordering period.
· This acquisition will include a mandatory site visit prior to proposal. Interested vendors will survey the piping, installation, and trailer placement requirements and reflect them in their proposal.
· All proposals must indicate if the vendor can achieve the 30-day installation suspense date. If 30-day installation is not practicable, vendors must propose an alternate installation schedule.
Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to: delivery of the water chiller within the specified timeframe; price; and meeting specifications in purchase specification.
Any exceptions to Statement of Work dated 14 May 2020 must be identified in quote. By submitting a quote, the contractor agrees to all stipulations in the purchase specification unless specified as an exception in the quote.
Site Visit Requirement: See FAR 52.237-1 below. The site visit is scheduled for 3 June 2020 at 9:00 a.m. MST. The site visit will take place at:
7538 5th Street Building 850, Southwest Corner of Building Hill Air Force Base, Utah
Site visit attendance is required for quote submission. Only one site visit will be held; no other opportunities to revisit the site will be hosted. Contractors may choose to bring subcontractors.
For base access, all visitors are required to have a valid state issued ID card. All drivers will need a valid Driver License, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance to obtain a pass. **The due date for all proposals is 15 June 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.** All questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted by 5 June 2020 to allow for the Government to assess the inquiry and provide a response.
