The solicitation requires evidence of insurance within five days of award, including workers' compensation at Georgia statutory limits, commercial general liability with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, and automobile liability. Respondents are encouraged to identify themselves as small businesses, local vendors, veteran-owned businesses, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE), or female-owned businesses; local vendors meeting specified criteria (operating within Henry County, current occupational tax certificate, current tax payment, and Georgia Security and Immigration Act compliance) may receive preference if their bid is within five percent of the lowest out-of-county bid.
