About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone to conduct market research for potential sources of cellular signal booster equipment. The Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) seeks to procure two Wilson PRO signal boosters (Enterprise 4300 and 1300 models) for installation in Buildings 5435 and 5436 at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The equipment will enhance mobile device connectivity for government users and provide emergency communication capability in the event of a network outage.

The specific requirements include installation of outdoor Yagi antenna arrays configured for Multiple Transmitter Technology, in-line surge suppressors, indoor amplifiers in wall-mount configurations, coaxial cabling with N-connectors, and indoor distribution systems with waveband splitters and dome antennas. Building 5435 requires the larger Enterprise 4300 system with eight ceiling-mounted dome antennas, while Building 5436 requires the Enterprise 1300 system with three ceiling-mounted dome antennas. Interested vendors must respond by July 15, 2026, with company information including business size, socioeconomic status, points of contact, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identifier. Responses should be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist listed. The RFI explicitly states this is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract or issue a formal RFP.
