About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for market research purposes to identify qualified vendors capable of providing nationwide, OSHA-compliant hearing conservation services. The DEA seeks to support approximately 4,000 employees across approximately 230 locations nationwide, including headquarters, field offices, and remote locations, with recurring audiometric testing to meet OSHA requirements. The RFI is issued under PSC Q514 (Medical-Otolaryngology) and NAICS 621111 (Offices of Physicians), and responses will inform the agency's potential acquisition strategy, service delivery models, and data security approaches. Vendors are encouraged to propose flexible delivery models including mobile services, portable solutions, clinic-based services, or combinations thereof.
Vendors must respond by February 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time with a maximum 20-page response (excluding attachments) submitted in PDF format to Contract Specialist Kenny Douangmala at Kenny.J.Douangmala@dea.gov using the subject line "[VENDOR NAME] Response to 15DDHQ-0001 - Hearing Conservation Program." Responses must address corporate capability and national-scale experience, service delivery models for large and small locations, OSHA compliance and Standard Threshold Shift reporting, scheduling and logistics across multiple sites, reporting and deliverables capabilities, technology and equipment specifications, and pricing structure. Vendors must explicitly confirm that DEA will maintain exclusive ownership of all program data, describe data storage and transfer mechanisms, identify supported unique identifiers, and provide security and compliance details including FedRAMP status or alternative secure handling approaches. This RFI does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and responders are solely responsible for all response costs with no reimbursement from the Government.
